Key Accountabilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate terms of purchase, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, to secure favorable agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while seeking opportunities for new supplier partnerships.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials to meet production schedules.
• Conduct cost analysis to ensure procurement is done within the company’s budget and identify potential areas for savings.
• Ensure all purchases comply with local and international regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Stay updated on market trends, raw material availability, and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Prepare reports for management on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualification Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Pharmacy or Engineering preferred with supply chain background.
2. 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Familiarity with pharmaceutical raw materials and their supply chains.
4. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency in procurement software and Excel.
