Key Accountabilities:
- Establish controls and preventive procedures for all activities that result in work risks (mechanical, electrical, physical, biological, chemical, and negative, contractor work, administrative work, etc.) after evaluating the work risks with department directors and department heads.
- Establish controls and preventive procedures for all inputs and outputs of production processes that have an internal or external environmental impact
- Supervise the tasks of employees at the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
- Present and receive all problems related to occupational safety and health and present them to senior management, the safety committee and official authorities to take appropriate decisions.
- Fulfill all legal requirements and safety and environmental specifications to obtain ISO certificates and fulfill the legal requirements.
- Establish controls and plans for conducting environmental measurements for all work areas, whether with measuring devices or through a consulting party and approving corrective controls for any deviations revealed by the results of the measurements.
- Establish controls, calibration and insurance plans for machines, equipment, appliances, boilers, elevators, and transportation and movement equipment.
- Approval of the environmental register, hazardous waste register, and environmental records in accordance with the Environmental Law
- Develop a system to follow up on rodent and pest control operations and follow up on its implementation
- Develop a system to monitor waste disposal and follow up on its implementation
- Participate in developing training needs for workers and implementing the legal requirements required for training in civil defense, occupational safety and health, first aid, and all requirements of official authorities related to occupational safety, health and the environment.
- Participate in developing and implementing an internal and external training program on occupational safety and health procedures and requirements
- Take the necessary measures to prevent workers’ violations of occupational safety and health procedures and requirements
- Determine occupational safety and health requirements in all agreements and contracts related to contractor work and follow up on the work of contractors assigned to carry out work within the scope of the company with regard to occupational safety and health procedures.
Qualification Requirements:
- Experience 7 – 12 years.
- Academic qualification (medicine – pharmacy – science – agriculture – postgraduate diploma in environmental or safety sciences).
- Required Skills (Working with others and teamwork -Adapting and responding to changes-Achieving results and meeting client expectations-Leadership and supervision – decision-making and initiative).
