Ceftriaxone Sodium 2 gm Vial.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Composition:	Each 2g vial contains: Ceftriaxone sodium 3.5 H2O 2.386 gm (Equ. to 2.0 gm ceftriaxone).
Indications:	– Lower Respiratory Tract Infections. – Skin And Skin Structure Infections. – Urinary Tract Infections. – Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. – Bone And Joint Infections. – Intra-abdominal Infections. – Meningitis. – Bacterial Septicemia.
Dosage and Administration:	– Zoxidel is administered intravenously. – The usual adult daily dose is 1 to 2 grams given once a day (or in equally divided doses twice a day) depending on the type and severity of infection. The total daily dose should not exceed 4 grams. – For preoperative use (surgical prophylaxis), a single dose of 1 gram administered intravenously 1/2 to 2 hours before surgery is recommended.
Package:	Carton box containing: – One vial. – Two ampoules of sterile water for injection, contain 5ml.
