| Zoxidel 0.5 gm: | Ceftriaxone sodium is off- white to yellow crystalline powder to give after reconstitution pale yellow to amber clear solution. Each vial contains Ceftriaxone Sodium equivalent to 50 0 mg Ceftriaxone. Ceftriaxone Sodium contains approximately (3.5 mEq) of Sodium per gram of ceftriaxone activity. |
| Mechanism of Action: | Carton box containing: Ceftriaxone is a bactericidal agent that acts by inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis. Ceftriaxone has activity in the presence of some beta-lactamases, both penicillinases and cephalosporinases, of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. |
